Exhibition Introduction

Life is neither long nor short. What goals or values should we live by in our limited years? In addition to basic needs such as food and clothing, is there any desire to satisfy personal spiritual needs or realize social welfare?

Regarding these issues, Kazuo Inamori, one of the "Four Saints" of Japanese entrepreneurs, once proposed that people should work hard. In particular, he attaches great importance to the spiritual values that accompany labor - he regards labor as a place for the improvement of human nature. In order to find a clear path in the complex social environment, people consciously or unconsciously form their own set of life principles in these processes, which are also called philosophy or way of life.

I resonate with this idea. I chose the path of art creation and wondered whether artists have gradually formed a unique way of life through their work over time. What will life be like in the end? Can my works record these messages?

This online exhibition is a record and commemoration of my inner self-examination process over the past forty years.
